A Word From Moriah

Mom has been really busy around here, so she asked me to guest post and share some highlights of my week.

I really love bath time.  It makes my hair super fluffy, and everyone thinks that’s just adorable.

Not trying to sound boastful or anything; I’m just repeating what I’ve heard.

Come on, just look at how cute I am!

I was happy for some warmer weather this week to eke out a little more use from one of my favorite summer onesies.   I have grown so much I’m nearly popping the snaps on this outfit, but everyone just eats up the “little sister” design.  Probably the last time I’ll be able to wear it.

Guess what I learned how to do this week?  There’s a hint in the next picture.

Yep, raspberries, and boy am I good at it.  It sure is funny giving mommy a spit shower.  She has told everyone not to encourage that for the sake of my oral-motor skills, but it’s almost impossible to resist my cuteness when I do that trick.  It makes the neatest sound too.

Oh, and guess what else I’ve been doing?  Rolling, rolling, rolling.  Mommy has a hard time keeping this busy girl on a blanket.  One minute I’m in the middle of the living room, and the next minute I have rolled clear over by the hearth.  Tee hee.  Good thing she has lots of helpers to keep track of me.

You know something else I love to do?  Admire my hands.

Hannah took these two pictures of me the other day when it was cooler.  As you can see, she also dressed me up in her crazy, fuzzy socks, but that’s another story.

I admire my hands all. the. time.  Don’t get me wrong.  I do like my toys too, but Mommy says God made my hands and that they are truly a marvel of creation.

Okay, folks, it’s been nice chatting and all, but speaking of hands, I must get back to them now.  Have a great weekend!

  1. So when did your little prodigy get to be such a good communicator? :) What a fun read, and we continue to glory in Moriah’s progress! About the socks–I’m wondering why I never thought to use too-big socks on my kids for leg-warmers and think it was a great idea! It would have likely worked on Abby & Davy’s chubby legs, but the others were probably too thin. Maybe the grippy-bottom ones turned to cover the knees/shins will work to grip the floor when Moriah starts scootching around & crawling. (You think she gets around fast now..wait til she gets traction!)

  2. Oh, she just melts my heart! My daughter is almost six months and it’s sweet to see another precious girl that age! Moriah is just adorable and looks like quite the blessing!
